Venue for exhibition

LFA 2018: COLLABORATORS
We are looking for a venue in Central London to host our small but fine installation/ exhibition as part or the London Festival of Architecture 2018 at the end of June!
The festival is the biggest architecture festival in Europe with over 400,000 visitors last year.
This year’s theme is IDENTITY and we have developed an installation concept for a projector-based installation.

Should you be interested in taking part in the LFA2018, or know someone who might be, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Patio House

Urban living often challenges our concept of a family home. This 4-bedroom house in South London has a tiny kitchen and badly connected outdoor space. Our consented scheme not only enlarges the kitchen but in fact forms a new room, which transitions seamlessly between inside and outside.

Paper tavolino

Paper-Tavolino started as a response to an actual problem. In many cities people live in very compact dwellings, with a real lack of physical storage space. Although we’re now living in the digital age, many of us still have the deeply human habit of collecting objects. Those who have not (yet) swapped the physical for its digital ‘equivalent’ find themselves often in the dilemma of having to free up space, ridding themselves of the items they’ve been passionately collecting.

As collectors of magazines, we faced exactly that problem and have come up with a solution, albeit only temporary: we repurposed the magazines to a piece of furniture, a bedside table.. this allowed us to keep the magazines, but they now own their right to stay!!

Pizza anyone

Works started on site  this week for an Italian Pizza restaurant in West Kensington.

We're hoping for the space to turn out as well as their pizzas.

As part of the practice’s engagement in the local community, studioort supports the start-up business charity Hatch Enterprise in opening the community hub 55 EAST.

We have provided charitable design advice and designed Carpet-tern, a flexible carpet cutting template offering multiple configuration options for a flexible space with a lounge theme.
