Mauritian Restaurant

The design for Marcel & Sons, a Mauritian restaurant within the new Elephant Park development is based on the idea of Tropical Modernism. The space is organised through a tiered seating cube, which doubles up as useful storage for the restaurant. Various bespokly designed furniture pieces reference the design approach of the early twentieth century Bauhaus movement.

The material palette employs different types of timber, cork and anodised metal.
